Everyone thought he was crazy and his co-workers distanced themselves from him, but that turned out to be a good thing.

Elmar Mock is an engineer in watchmaking and plastics, and he co-invented the Swatch. He then designed Tissot’s Rockwatch before leaving the company and founding his own engineering and technical consultation company, Créaholic in Biel, Switzerland in 1986. Elmar Mock is cited as an inventor in more than 150 patent families and he is well known internationally for his innovation factory concept and philosophy of innovation. His company has completed 800 projects, working for international clients of all sizes in many different industries. Over the years, they’ve won awards, generated hundreds of patents and launched spin-off companies to commercialize their own inventions.
Mark Bidwell has extensive experience catalyzing and driving change in a variety of marketing and leadership roles at market-leading companies such as BP Oil, The Hay Group, and Syngenta, where I lhe the creation and development of a $2bn Specialty Crops business unit. Mark’s initial exposure to disruptive innovation involved launching London’s first home-delivery supermarket, followed by introducing the first web-based consulting product to European clients in 1995, which formed the basis of a business that today generates revenues approaching $150m.
