THORBEN HÄNEL

Thorben Hänel is a senior executive at a commercial redevelopment agency in Germany and a current PhD candidate at the University of Sunderland, Faculty of Business and Law. His main research interests include the effectiveness and appropriateness of technology transfer and innovation between German and Chinese firms from a strategic management angle. He is a member of the China Association for Management of Technology (CAMOT) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). His professional background involves experience in corporate finance and strategic managerial accounting in the German banking and real estate sector.
