Colin Nelson is Director of Strategic Consulting at HYPE Innovation, the global leader in idea and innovation management software and solutions for over 11 years. Markus Durstewitz is working at Airbus Innovation Cell. As Senior Director, Cognitive Engineering, Markus’ focus is on new information technologies and methods enabling intelligent assistance, new modes of human-machine interaction and multi-agent collaboration in a more and more network-centric working environment. At Airbus, he operates an innovation platform building a virtual innovation community and enabling the engagement of employees in actual innovation challenges.

Markus graduated in 1993 as aerospace engineer at Technical University of Stuttgart, Germany and worked for 5 years in aerospace research on knowledge-based systems, human factors and automation with Eurisco. He joined Airbus in 1999 and continued his research as Technical Area Expert for new IT Methods and obtained his Phd (Dr.-Ing.) in 2001 from Man-Machine Systems Institute of the University of Kassel, Germany. At Airbus, Markus has worked in key positions along the complete product life cycle covering responsibilities in programmes management, engineering, customer services and operations. Before joining Innovation Cell, Markus was Head of ATM Business Development in corporate strategy.

Deborah Arcoleo is the Director, Global Innovation Center of Excellence and Disruptive Innovation for The Hershey Company. She is responsible for implementing processes, tools and training to drive enterprise-wide innovation capability, culture and breakthrough results. She also leads the Disruptive Innovation team and manages stage gate and portfolio management governance.

Deborah has significant experience in Consumer Packaged Goods as an innovation practitioner, leader and change agent. Prior to Hershey, Deborah served as Director, US Soup Innovation for the Campbell Soup Company; Director, Global Innovation with the J&J Consumer Group of Companies, and Global Director of Organization Effectiveness and Innovation Management for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. She also founded and ran her own organization effectiveness and change management consulting firm for 6 years, and spent 14 years in the management consulting profession, including four years at McKinsey & Company in New York. Deborah has a BA in Economics from Indiana University in Bloomington, and an MA in Organization Design and Effectiveness from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara.

Helene Rutledge is SVP Technology for AeroDesigns, a start-up founded by Harvard professor David Edwards to deliver air-based nutrition and medications. She is leading the development and execution of an exciting portfolio of new products including AeroShot (TM) Energy, delivering caffeine and B-vitamins in an innovative new way. Prior to AeroDesigns, Helene was global Director of Open Innovation for GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, where she led the team that identified, evaluated, and secured external breakthrough technologies for the company’s global brands.

Helen has a solid track record in business and new product development, from ideation through product launch. She has been responsible for innovative programs at both large and small pharmaceutical and consumer companies. At Warner-Lambert, she was the R&D project leader that took Listerine PocketPaks (TM) from concept to commercialization and launched the GoSMILE Whitening System at a start-up virtual oral care company. Helen holds a BE in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College and an Executive MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
