Roel – Innovation Program Manager – held several business development/ strategic roles since joining the Liberty Global family in 2008. Roel was one of the originators of Liberty Global’s collaborative innovation initiative Spark and has since been managing and expanding this on international scale. Roel studied at the renowned Dutch University Nyenrode where he received his Master’s degree in Business Administration and the Entrepreneur Award for best startup.

Collaborative Innovation – Hamburger Style

Often I read articles or books about top-down vs. bottom-up innovation and why one approach would be better than the other. After spending more than five years in the collaborative innovation space, I would advise going hamburger style!
